I’m interested and passionate about various aspects of wellness and I feel each individual is responsible for and should empower him/her self to be the healthiest they can be. This blog is about some (mostly random) topics within the wellness domain that I come across in my life. Things like do I need to take a probiotic supplement or how to make sauerkraut or why meditate etc.
I’ve taken holistic nutrition course a few years ago because I realized how important food is in maintaining and improving health/wellness.
I have always been physically active as a dancer, runner (although that didn’t last long), tai chi and yoga practitioner and a lover of hiking and just plain city walking and biking. I also love swimming and just playing in water – ocean, sea or lake are my preferred bodies of water.
I have had a regular (daily) meditation practice for fifteen years now and have seen tremendous benefits in my personal and professional life and relationships. I practice Vipassana (or insight) meditation and have found it a good fit for me. I also volunteer as a meditation guide during residential retreats in this tradition of meditation.
